Ashley P. Ferrell is a scholar and instructor of rhetoric and communication, whose research and writing is grounded in feminist theory. Their current book project, Dwelling on the Remains: U.S. University Legacies, Lineages, and Rhetorics of Repair, examines how academic institutions "reckon" with their racial histories amid the political present.

Ferrell's prior professional experiences in nonprofit development and fundraising, consulting, and project management contribute to their ability to collaborate with colleagues, execute on administrative activities, and oversee programming.
